A message from Michael

A message from our patron, Michael Sheen, on TREAT Month.

What a wonderful initiative this is!

As a Patron, I’m delighted that three businesses in Swansea High Street’s Urban Village are teaming up together for our charity, TREAT Wales: The Raspberry Cakery putting on “The Great Swansea Bake-Off”, Mosaic Restaurant holding a “best recipe” competition and Tickled Children’s Hair Salon organising a children’s art competition.

It’s an absolute honour to be asked to decide the overall winner of the children’s pictures.

Each of the three age-groups will have an individual winner and it’s my privilege to judge which of these is the best overall. I look forward with eager anticipation to seeing the work of the three contenders.

I’m also delighted that the South Wales Evening Post (now itself a resident of the Urban Village) and Swansea Sound and the Wave are not only promoting the event but taking an active part. It is a pleasure to know that TREAT’s involvement will be helping to play a part in the High Street regeneration.

Regrettably my filming commitments in Los Angeles will prevent my being present in person at “Trick or TREAT Month”, but I shall be keeping closely in touch with what I know promises to be a significant and fun event involving people of all ages.
